Having a clear vision for your business is critical for success. In any endeavour, if you don’t know where you are going there is little benefit in spending time thinking about how to get there.
With the vision clearly defined, you can create a well-crafted plan and powerful structures for fulfilment. You can build the relationships necessary to inspire and engage all concerned. You can move confidently into action. And then review and adjust based on results.
However, without all the parts in place, your ambitions will remain forever a dream, or at best a pale shade of their true potential.
Staying focussed is not always easy, and in the day-to-day heat of running your business, it is very easy to be pulled by circumstance and react to events, rather than working proactively and consistently to cause your desired outcomes.
